Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Memlane, including the app at app.memlane.io and this website. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please don’t use Memlane.

Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under it. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use Memlane.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Memlane to break the law or infringe others’ rights.
• Save or share content you have no right to access or distribute.
• Disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure.
• Abuse the service to mass-scrape or resell content.

Your content

You keep ownership of the links, notes, and topics you create. You grant us the limited permission needed to operate the service: to fetch, store, process, summarize, and display that content back to you, and to make an individual article available to others only when you choose to share it.

Memlane saves copies of the pages you submit for your personal reference. You’re responsible for ensuring your use of saved content complies with the rights of the original publishers.

Subscriptions & billing

Memlane offers a free tier and a paid plan. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through our payment provider, and renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime; your plan stays active through the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Prices may change with notice for future billing periods.

Availability

We work to keep Memlane running reliably, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features over time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Memlane is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You can stop using Memlane and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put the service at risk.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use Memlane after changes means you accept the updated terms.
